STEP 1. CLEANSE & PREP: Starting with a clean face, apply a face primer that is best suited for your skin type. This will allow for your makeup to go on smoothly and last longer.

TIP: MeToo™ Makeup Wipes were used to cleanse...

...and Pore Perfecting Face primer was applied to smooth out the skin.

TIP: Always start with the eyes. The eyes are the focal point of the face.

STEP 2. EYE LIDS: Add a light concealer from the lash line to the eyebrow using MeToo™ #16 sable brush.

Our model is wearing MeToo™ Mineral Photo Touch Concealer in Light. The concealer is set with MeToo™ Vanilla Mineral Matte Shadow.

STEP 3. Set concealer with a sheer or matte light color eyeshadow. Apply over entire lid 2-3 times to prevent creasing. Use MeToo™ contour brush.

STEP 4. Apply contour color just above the crease on the curve of the brow bone. This creates a softer, blended eye with a more natural effect. TIP: keep brush handle down toward cheek when applying

STEP 5. LINE THE EYE: Line the eye by pressing into the root of the lash. Starting from the outside of the eye working your way towards the bridge of the nose.

Tip: To line the eye use MeToo™ Frame It Brush along with a dark powdered eyeliner. Our model is wearing MeToo™ Carbon 807

STEP 6. CLEAN under the eyes with MeToo™ Dual Action Lip and Eye Makeup Remover. This step is a must do! TIP: Squirt eye makeup remover into the palm of your hand. Roll tip of cotton swab into remover. Gently work from the bridge of the nose to the outside of the eye.

STEP 7. Curl the eyelashes. When crimping lashes hold firmly for a slow count of 6. Tip: Staff favorite: Kevyn Aucoin™ Eyelash Curler available at ncolor salon™.

STEP 8. Coat the eyelashes 2-3 times with a MeToo™ Mascara of your choice.

TIP: The stroke direction of mascara can reshape the eye into multiple looks. For a wide-eyed look, the mascara should be pulled upward. For a retro shape/right angle eye (think TV’s Mad men style) the brush should be pulled outward instead of upward.

STEP 9. CONCEALER: Apply concealer from the inside of the eye by the bridge of the nose and feather down toward the side of nose and under the eye.

Step 10: FOUNDATION: Apply only where needed, generally in the T-zone area. TIP: Using MeToo™ Cover It Brush stroke from the center of the T-Zone area outward towards the hair line. Model is wearing MeToo™ Liquid Mineral Powder in Tender Beige

FACT: MeToo™ Mineral foundations allow the skin to breath, have natural SPF factors and natural light reflective properties. This combination makes the skin look naturally flawless.

FACT: Setting the foundation with a loose or pressed powder helps to set the makeup. This allows blush and bronzer to go on smoothly.

Step 10. Adding a bronzer to the high points of the face provides the natural appearance of a sun kissed look. Apply bronzer with MeToo™ Kabuki brush. Model is wearing MeToo™ Hydrating Mineral Loose Powder in Shell and MeToo™ Dual Mineral Bronzer in Fresco Bronze.

Tip: Bronzer should be applied slightly back off the apple of the cheek, the side of the forehead, along jaw line, under the chin and slightly down the neck.

Step 11. BLUSH: Apply blush to the apples of the cheeks. This gives a youthful healthy glow. To apply use MeToo™ Blush Brush

Step 12. BROWS: The most important feature that frames the entire face. To create perfect brows use the MeToo™ Brow Shaper Kit. By applying eye brow powder with a soft angled brush you can achieve the result that is best for you.

FACT: Color is used not to just darken but to add more warmth or depth to create a much more defined and natural look.

Tip: If your not sure how to work with your brow, comb the brow down. Use small strokes to apply the color and work with the natural curve of your brow. When you have achieved your optimal color and shape, comb the brows up and set with a clear or tinted brow gel.

Step 13. LIPS: Prep the lip with a lip primer and lip liner, feather the liner into the lip leaving the center of the lip its natural color. Line Lip: Model has on Tearose lip liner

TIP: For longer lasting lipstick apply and blot, then reapply for a long lasting lip.

TIP: If you choose a lip gloss (a personal favorite, I love gloss!), it will give a fuller more youthful look. Model has on MeToo™ Liquid Luster lip gloss in Pink Kisses.
